ETHICALLY MADE JEWELRY

This is why we do it.

No matter our current adventure, efficiency, sustainability, and creativity have always come together to be the force that drives us. Our jewelry line made is no different. During a summer of commercial salmon fishing in Southeast Alaska, Salty Sisters was founded out of a motivation to find a fun way to use more parts of the fish we were catching.

As stewards of our environment, we do our best to implement those same values throughout our daily routine. We make conscious decisions when choosing purveyors, events, and the fisherfolk we collaborate with. When we travel for work we do our best to spend our dollars within the local economy by shopping at farmers markets, using local printers, and being mindful when dining and choosing lodging.

Our packaging for our sustainable jewelry and accessories is comprised of natural wood and produced by a 3rd generation USA family business.

The resin we use comes from a small female-owned business in the USA and is toxin-free.

We also donate a portion of online sales to non-profit organizations that promote healthy waters, sustainable living, and occasionally other organizations that are close to our hearts.
